Registry ScorePLUS – Is your applicant financially responsible?
The core feature of RPP is Registry ScorePLUS, First Advantage SafeRent's proprietary tenant risk scoring model that was developed by First Advantage SafeRent's Analytics Group in conjunction with Experian Decision Analytics, a global leader in credit scoring.
The Registry ScorePLUS scoring model calculates the tenant risk score using a highly complex scoring algorithm — a set of equations — that uses data elements from Experian Credit Profile Reports, alternative ("sub–prime") credit data, and First Advantage SafeRent's proprietary consumer information database — including landlord-tenant and eviction records, the largest such database in the industry — and from the prospective tenants' application itself.
Registry ScorePlus indicates by a numerical score between 200 and 800 the level of risk that an applicant may fail to satisfactorily fulfill his/her lease obligations. A lower score suggests a more risky applicant. A colorful graphic on the RPP website will display your applicant’s score and additional text and data will help you understand the ranking of the applicant’s score in terms of what proportion of all scores are higher or lower than that score level.
Registry ScorePLUS is available to qualifying RPP subscribers and provides the full benefit of all relevant consumer information contained in the Experian Credit Profile Report. Targeting states and counties that may be relevant to that applicant can help landlords reduce cost and increase accuracy for criminal record searches. |

Registry CrimCHECK – Does your applicant have a criminal background?
Registry CrimCHECK is a multi-jurisdictional search of First Advantage SafeRent's proprietary database of felony, misdemeanor, and sex offender criminal history public records, including the multi–state sex offender (MSSO) registries. First Advantage SafeRent offers the most comprehensive criminal search service in the multifamily housing industry, and you can make an accept/decline decision based on your own criteria.

Criminal Public Record Searches: Specific States and/or Counties
With RPP you also have the option to order additional state and/or county–level criminal public record searches as individual reports, described below, depending on your needs. The RPP standard IDentify search will help you to target states and counties that may be relevant to that applicant, reducing cost and increasing accuracy. These individual reports require a separate search of the relevant public records in specific courthouses and are subject to delayed reporting. |
